DUE TO COVID-19, WE HAVE PUT IN PLACE ADDITIONAL SAFETY MEASURES AND PRECAUTIONS TO HELP MAINTAIN EVERYONE’S SAFETY
Instructors will wear gloves and face coverings at all times while conducting lessons and when traveling to and from lessons.
Instructors will maintain social distancing at all lessons.
Adequate support and guidance will be given to participants regarding social distancing rules.
Equipment will be sprayed with aerosol disinfectant before and after each lesson.
Rigorous checks will be carried out by line managers to ensure procedures are being followed.
If anyone displays symptoms during a lesson, such as a cough or a high temperature, all participants will be sent home and advised to follow the Stay at Home guidance.
INSTRUCTORS WILL ENSURE THAT ALL PARTICIPANTS ARE BRIEFED ON:
The rules and safety procedures set for lessons.
Maintaining social distancing at all times.
How to stop and step away from the skateboard safely.
How to control direction and avoid collisions.
How to skateboard together in public safely.
WHAT PARTICIPANTS CAN DO TO HELP:
Maintain social distancing.
Sanitise hands before and after each lesson.
No deliberate collisions.
No bad language or disrespectful behaviour of any kind. Behaviour of this type will result in immediate exclusion from the lesson.
Not to try anything unless taught to do so safely.
Not to attempt to hold or support anyone during the lesson
Bring your own equipment and safety gear if possible. We are working with our partners to provide exclusive discounts on skateboards and safety gear, in order to help those who do not have their own.
