    What we run

    Lessons

    Group and 1-on-1 roller skate lessons with qualified coaches, for beginners through to confident skaters.

    Workshops

    Short, focused sessions to build skills and confidence, including family-friendly sessions for under 17s.

    Discos, parties and private hire

    Roller discos, skatepark nights and private sessions, running in venues across Plymouth.

    Hire skates

    Skate hire is £2 a pair, available at selected events in selected sizes, subject to availability. Hire isn’t available at the Prime Skatepark session. Tell us what you need and we’ll confirm by email whether we have a pair for you.

    Skate type

    Sizes and stock are limited, so a request is not a booking until we confirm it. Please send your request before you book your ticket, so we can check your size is available.

    Where do your events take place?

    We host events at various venues across Plymouth, including VOXA Plymouth, Prime Skatepark and Stoke Damerel Community College. The venue, date and time are listed on each event above.

    Can children attend?

    Yes, selected events are family-friendly. The Halloween Roller Disco has a separate under 18s session, and we run workshops for under 17s and families. Please check each event description for age limits and requirements before booking.

    How do I book tickets?

    All event tickets and bookings are through our Fatsoma links. Use the ticket button on the event you want. If you have any trouble, email us and we’ll sort it out.

    How do I request skate hire?

    Skate hire is £2 a pair, available at selected events and in selected sizes, subject to availability. Hire isn’t available at the Prime Skatepark session. Use the skate hire form on this page to tell us your size and whether you want quad or blade skates, and we’ll confirm by email whether we have a pair for you.

    How do I book a lesson or private hire?

    How do I contact Eduskate?

    For general enquiries, bookings, event questions and anything else, email eduskate.uk@gmail.com or message us on our social media pages. If something went wrong with a booking, tell us the event, the name on the booking and what happened.

    Can beginners attend?

    Absolutely. Our events and sessions cater to different ages and abilities, including complete beginners. Please check each event description for specific requirements.

    Do you offer refunds?

    Refund requests must be made through Fatsoma at least 24 hours before the event starts. Ticket transfers and event cancellations are covered in our Refund and Cancellation Policy. For help with a booking, email eduskate.uk@gmail.com.

    Enquire about a lesson

    Private indoor lessons

    Personalised 1-to-1 coaching for beginners through to advanced skaters. Learn balance, forwards and backwards skating, stopping, crossovers, transitions, spins, jumps, jam skating and dance footwork.

    Group lessons

    Learn with friends or family.

    • Parent + child£45
    • Groups of 3 to 5£15 per person
    • Groups of 6 or more£12 per person

    Private partner skate lessons

    For couples, friends, siblings and performance duos. Includes two instructors. Learn synchronised skating, partner footwork, spins, dance moves and choreography. Advanced skills are subject to ability and safety.

    Outdoor lessons at The Hoe, Plymouth

    Our affordable option. Personalised coaching at discounted rates, with no indoor hall hire costs. All sessions are 1 hour and weather permitting.

    Refund and cancellation policy

    Refunds

    All refund requests must be submitted through Fatsoma at least 24 hours before the event starts. Requests made after this deadline will not be accepted, except where required by law.

    Tickets are non-refundable if you forget to attend, arrive late or are unable to attend for personal reasons.

    Ticket transfers

    If you can no longer attend, you may transfer your ticket to another person, subject to any event age restrictions and requirements. Please ensure the new attendee has all relevant booking information.

    Skate hire

    Skate hire must be requested in advance and is subject to availability and selected sizes. If you did not request skate hire when booking and subsequently require skates, we cannot guarantee availability. Refunds will not be issued because skate hire was not requested in advance or is unavailable on the day.

    Event changes and cancellations

    If Eduskate cancels an event or makes changes that legally entitle you to a refund, refunds will be handled in accordance with applicable law and Fatsoma’s policies.
